2025 Honda CR-V Pros and Cons

Pros
1. Spacious Interior
Honda designed the 2025 Honda CR-V front seats that decrease driver fatigue on long trips and the new CR-V’s driving position has been improved. The rear seats allow passengers to enjoy a broad 41 inches of legroom. If you check behind the rear seats you’ll find a massive 39.3 cubic feet of cargo space, which is noticeably more than competitors like the Mazda CX-50. When the rear seats are folded down the maximum volume is 76.5 cubic feet, placing it among the top of its class!
2. Lots Of Equipment Comes Standard
Many features on the 2025 Honda CR-V come standard allowing you to get the cheapest trim and still reaping a good amount of benefits. Standard equipment includes Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Hill descent control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control with a low-speed follow function.
3. 3-Year/36,000-Mile Warranty
The standard new-vehicle warranty for the 2025 Honda CR-V is three years or 36,000 miles, whichever happens first. The powertrain’s warranty lasts five years or 60,000 miles. These are the basic terms for the entire class. Honda also adds a bit more with complimentary maintenance for the first two years or 24,000 miles.

Cons
1. Slow Acceleration
It’s no secret that the Hond CR-V wasn’t built to compete with supercars so it is not the quickest SUV on the lot. You can expect a 0-60 mph time of about 8.1 seconds, making it slightly slower for its class than the hybrid model. The transmission also causes the engine to make more noise with harder acceleration.
2. Small Infotainment Screens
The screens inside of the 2025 Honda CR-V are relatively small compared to most of its competition. With most recent SUVs having a 12-inch infotainment scene to display useful information, the CR-V only has a 9-inch display on the highest EX-L trim and only a 7-inch touchscreen for the LX and EX models.
3. Bland Styling
This may be a personal preference, but most people would probably agree that the Honda CR-V is a boring vehicle inside and out. Nothing is too flashy or exotic, but that is completely by design. The 2025 Honda CR-V puts all of its resources into a quality driving experience instead of bold looks.

I am not a large woman, 5’2″ and I found the Forester to have less than ideal vision. The head pads in the back seat are located close together so there is a very small viewing space out the back window. I know you’re supposed to “use the lights and mirrors” but this wasn’t the way I was taught and it’s very hard to get used to. Also there is a large space where the rear view mirror is that makes it really hard to see ahead. If one more person yells, “Use the mirror” I’m gonna scream.
Worst instruction Manual on the Market. The College Kids working on this trying to prove how SMART they are. To bad. Otherwise a pretty good car
I love my 2021 Honda CRV SE, solid car, great for my rideshare business!!
Great breakdown of the 2025 Honda CR-V! 🚗👍 The spacious interior, impressive standard features, and solid warranty make it a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable and practical SUV.
I would not describe the interior or exterior as boring, at least for the SPORT model. I base that not on my own opinion, but ‘nice car’ comments by numerous folks.
